Callout for Artists!

We are looking for artists from a variety of different art forms, with a range of experience levels, to deliver work on our Culture Collective programme. We are especially interested in hearing from artists who are based in or have a connection to South Ayrshire communities.

Culture Collective – The Ayr Gaiety is one of twenty-three organisations in Scotland that make up The Culture Collective, a pilot programme from Creative Scotland and Scottish government establishing a network of creative practitioners, organisations and communities working together to create a positive difference locally and nationally in response to COVID-19.

The programme supports a participatory approach, working collaboratively to actively engage people in shaping the cultural life of their community. With Covid-19 impacting significantly on the creative sector, the Culture Collective allows organisations like The Gaiety to adapt, respond and explore new ways of working in the community. The Gaiety will be working with 6 South Ayrshire communities delivering workshops and events across 2021- 2022.
