Opportunities

FST BURSARY

FST bursary applications are now open, and we would like to hear from potential partners!

The Gaiety Theatre is turning 125 next year, and to celebrate we are planning a number of projects, events and artistic programming to mark this milestone. We are looking for an individual to join us in an application for an FST bursary.

We are particularly looking for applicants with an interest in Producing. You might be an assistant or associate producer looking to step up in role or scale, wish to gain experience within a building-based organisation, or you might have experience self producing and want to explore producing on other projects.

The current round of bursaries will close on 26 June so we welcome contact from anyone wishing to have an informal conversation about a placement before then. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with a meaningful relationship with Ayrshire, and individuals who identify as being from backgrounds marginalised in Scottish Theatre. This is an open invitation rather than an application process and once we have found a suitable candidate we are happy to add you to our database for future opportunities.

Please contact mat.page@ayrgaiety.co.uk to arrange a chat with email subject line “FST Bursary Chat” .
