MAD Productions presents Mark Twain In Person – a solo performance with Ken O’Hara as Mark Twain. The play is devised by Ken O’Hara, in which he portrays the great writer and philosopher and gives a dramatic recitation from some of Twain’s work. Twain muses on religion, strange-looking dogs, his days on the Mississippi steamboats, and much more! The play includes use of racist epithets in the context of Mark Twain’s writing. Join Mr Twain for an evening of wit, reflection and the famous white suit! The play is directed by Isi Nimmo.
Ken’s MAD Productions has presented many successful rural touring dramas over recent years, supported by The Gaiety – with The Price of A Fish Supper by Catherine Czerkawska, and his one-man A Christmas Carol by Greg Oliver Bodine. He has also produced Frankie and Johnny In The Claire de Lune by Terence McNally and Alan Bennett’s A Chip In The Sugar.
