Chris Forbes: Father Christmas

Christmas comes to Ayr a wee bit late this year. Fresh from winning the inaugural McTavish Award at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe, Scot Squad star Chris Forbes brings his hit show Father Christmas to the Gaiety.

Expect trees, tinsel and tragedy. A hilarious, heartfelt stand-up show about festive joy, family and the Christmas Day that changed everything.

Blending big laughs with beautiful storytelling, this deeply personal hour is for anyone who loves, or hates, Christmas.
