A story of Robert Burns and the women of his life, in song, poetry and monologues. Brought to you by Burns’ Bachelor’s Performers, a story of humble beginnings, Burns’ education and the many wonderful poems, songs and verses that he penned. Also his rise to national fame, during his 37 years of life. Yes, he may have lived only 37 years, but he certainly lived a full life of romancing the lassies and his legacy of children. Robert Burns is celebrated worldwide, and this year will mark 266 years of his birth.

Presentation by local Amateur company ‘Burns Batchelor Performers’: Jolyn Crawford, Joan McDade, Cathy Costello, Tracy Anne Harvey, Samantha Brown, Pauline Vallance. Collated by Davie Bunter.

(Running time approx. 60 mins)
