The Chamber Philharmonic Europe was founded in Cologne in 2006. It engages talented young musicians from 18 European nations and has performed throughout Europe. In this concert, the nine featured players will perform music by Corelli, Rachmaninoff ‘s gentle Vocalise, Albinoni’s ever popular Trumpet Concerto with Russian soloist Cyril Gussaroff, Mozart’s Divertimento, Faure’s Pavane and two Concertos from Vivaldi’ four Seasons. This is a welcome return to Ayr for the CPE, who last played here in July 2024.
