Facilitated by Ned Glasier (Company Three), getting started in devising is often the hardest bit. In two hour workshop about making work with young people, participants are invited to explore how to use sources to inspire young people to generate lots of artistic responses in a fun, unpressured and personal way, creating a broad range of material to build your play from.
Please note tickets are being sold through both The Tron and The Gaiety so if our dates are sold then do head over to the Tron website to see what else is available.
About Company Three:
Company Three is a leading force for change for teenagers in our local community and around the world. They are a theatre company led by the ideas of 75 members aged 11-19. They develop their practice through deep-rooted relationships locally and share our practice globally to impact teenagers everywhere. Working in Islington, North London, they make transformative theatre through long-term, intensive collaboration between young people and professional theatre-makers. The company’s plays have been performed at the National Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre, the Royal Exchange Theatre, Yard Theatre and on the BBC.
Their play Brainstorm has been produced by more than 80 companies across the world and we have trained more than 500 practitioners through our in-house courses and university teaching.
